Round LED, Day Running Lamp Kit

This is a kit of 12 volt LED day running lamps. The lamps come with an universal fit mounting bracket, wiring loom and control module. They are 70mm in diameter with a 65mm housing and are 45mm deep.

They can be fitted to replace fog lights on some vehicles (please check before purchase) or mounted on flat panel into a 65mm hole.

The lamps have a cast alloy body, are waterproof to Ip44 standard and should not be confused with the low quality plastic lamps available elsewhere. They are fitted with four 1 watt LED bulbs with a lifespan of 50000 hours and a very high brightness of 6000k, which the same technology found in many high end manufacturer's vehicles. The lamps are also E marked and meet the current ECE R87 regulations.

The day running lights will automatically light up when the vehicle is started and go out approximately 1 minute after the ignition is switched off, which is a useful 'see me to the door' feature. During night time driving, when your lights are switched on, the lamps will dim to half brightness to avoid dazzle.

They come with an easy fit wiring loom with only three connections required under the bonnet - no complicated under the dash dismantling. They are 100% compatible with the vehicle's canbus wiring system.

By fitting these Day Running Lamps you will be more visible to other drivers and pedestrians meaning increased road safety. From February this year they are a compulsory fitment on new cars and light vans, and will thus become commonplace - so fitting them to your pre 2011 vehicle will ensure it stays looking current and up to date.
