This is a12 volt LED day running light kit. The lamps come with a universal fit mounting bracket, wiring loom and control module . They are 70mm in diameter with a 65mm housing and are 45mm deep. They also have a clip on outer ring that is 90mm in diameter
They can be fitted to replace fog lights on some vehicles (please check the dimensions before purchase) or mounted on flat panel into a 76mm hole.
The lamps have a cast alloy body with a vent valve to regulate temperature and pressure inside the lens. They are fitted with four 1 watt LED bulbs which have a very high brightness of 6000k, which is the same technology found in many high end manufacturer's vehicles. The lamps are also E marked and meet the current ECE R87 regulations.
The lights will switch on and off with the ignition. The controller can be connected so that the lights will dim or go out with the headlamps depending on customer preference.
They come with an easy fit wiring loom with only three connections required. They are 100% compatible with the vehicle's canbus wiring system.
By fitting these Day Running Lamps you will be more visible to other drivers and pedestrians meaning increased road safety. From February 2011 they are a compulsory fitment on new cars and light vans, and will thus become commonplace - so fitting them to your pre 2011 vehicle will ensure it stays looking current and up to date.
